The Patten Lumbermen’s Museum is situated just northwest of Patten, ME, on Route 159 which is a left turn off Rt. 11 (opposite “Welcome Kiosk” and “Alumni Park”) north of the Town of Patten  onto Shin Pond Road,  located on the right just 1/4 mile at 61 Shin Pond Road. This is also the Katahdin Scenic Byway, the northern entrance to Baxter State Park and to the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument.
